Sudden attack of massively missing driving out to Boise in the middle of the night to sit around the all night pizza joint and write stories. Being a senior was awesome. I really miss debating characterization over what we wished was beer and was actually soda, and how awesome it was when we could get entire subplots fully created in the span of a particularly productive conversation.

Attempting to read the French things I come across in my idle researching in their native language, rather than finding an English version, gives me vivid memories of learning how to read. How smart it felt, to puzzle meanings out of unfamiliar words, to discover language. That tingle as the information moved around to accommodate new entries.  I really miss my French and German classes...
